    In an active fuckjoint, most of the bottoms and tops will either adjust automatically or move on to someone who can accomodate them. It is a bigger problem in places where there isn't an active casual fuck scene and guys don't have the experience, and it may be hours before another interested partner appears, so guys that actually need to fuck put up with a lot of discomfort when the other party can't be persuaded. Personally I can't even comprehend fucking in a bed, and sticking with a single position for the entire fuck, but that may be yet another area where I'm unusual.

    At the rate bathhouses are closing, I could be wrong on a few of them, but I think the western US has multiple metros with more than one. Seattle, Portland, LA and Phoenix I believe all still have 2, and Las Vegas definitely has 2 plus I believe a new one has opened.. I thought SF Bay was down to 1 with the closure of the one in San Jose? Unfortunately I wouldn't put any of the ones I've been to in those cities that are still open on my list of bests.     @hntnhole Since I had the Cumunion website up to see if there were any parties I wanted to go to on my long weekend next weekend, it looks like in Ft Lauderdale Slammer will have parties on the 1st Wednesday and the bathhouse on the 3rd Saturday going forward. Just in case anyone wants to hookup and fuck or get fuckd by a blonde bear, I will definitely be at the Hawks PDX party tomorrow night, and am giving serious thought to going Palm Springs and staying the entire week and go to the CCBC orgy on the 21st. If I don't wind up going to Palm Springs for the week I will be at the Steam Portland party (I can't bring myself to call either Portland Cumunion event a orgy) on the 19th.

    Even if you can see the colors, after a couple of hours they fade to the point where it is hard to tell. Red is bottom, orange is oral only, blue is top and purple is for none of the above. I almost always offend at least one with orange with an offer to fuck them, and by asking one with purple to fuck me. At the most recent party I managed to make 3 oral only and 2 none of the above guys mad, in the 10 minute before I gave up and went home. Even faded, they completely defeat the blackout concept.

    The weird part is locally it actually seems to be more common among the flaming in your face gay types than it does more regular guys. It is especially true at the nude beaches and bars, but tends to be at least somewhat true at sex venues and other cruising spots. Their is always a sizable group that is there to be seen as gay and socialize about it, rather than act on any kind of an urge. I have postulated that it is more of a lifestyle thing for them rather than a biological urge. I've also theorized that the climate or some other factor does something to libidos here. I've seen some pretty weird things happen in adult theaters with women, who would be considered very desirable trying to get gang banged, there was very little interest in the actually fucking or even touching. I've even tried to help a married couple that I'm friends with by fucking her and sometimes both of them in the front of the theater, which on several occasions caused most of the other guys in the theater turn around and face away from us and the screen. Sadly we no longer have adult theaters here.

    If I were in Las Vegas tonight, I would go, all Cumunion parties attract far more bottoms than guys willing to top. Remember at least 80-90% of the guys hoping to top at a sex club are hoping to bottom too.     That is very much true in the Pacific Northwest of the US, it is probably the most liberal and accepting part of the country, which even extends to nudism, sexual fetishes and kinks. When it comes to engaging in sex physical acts they are the more inhibited and repressed than anywhere else that I know of. There is a lot of slut shaming, even in the bathhouses.

    It isn't new here, they have been very much a presence in places guys go to hookup for the entire 16 years that I have lived here. What has seemed to change is how far my local bathhouses have gone to accommodate and encourage them, even to the point of holding special events (or at least more special events, massage night was on the schedule 16 years ago), which seems to be mirrored in the hookup apps which aren't local. I'm not traveling as much recently, but have the horrible fear that it has spread and I will encounter it other places. I'm hoping to relocate in the next 6 months, hopefully to an area where "sides" do not make up the majority of guys that are looking for hookups.

    I agree that at least part of them do oral, but most of the hookup apps have long had an oral only option, so I'm not sure why they would need a new designation. One of the local bathhouses holds "blackout" parties where they provide color coded glow stick bracelets by position, they have different colors for top, bottom, versatile, they eventually added oral, and have now added one for none of the above. Until the last couple of months there were more guys choosing the oral color than any other (probably at least 50% since they started offering it as an option, until recently). At the "blackout" in mid December, none of the above had to have surpassed oral, with less than 25% combined picking top, bottom or versatile.

    I don't know if they take their clothes off. They are heavily promoted on Twitter and if you Google Portland Cuddle Parties or Groups you get a long list. They have both mixed and single sex events. The only things I noted was that they all seem to forbid sexual contact at their events, and that it is trend that is expanding to other areas and were listing new events in other US and Canadian cities. It doesn't sound like my cup of tea. Not exactly a cuddle party, but one of the baths have massage night every Tuesday night and monthly parties where they take off their clothes and just massage each other, that the other patrons on those nights have let me know are not intended for sexual contact. I haven't received any warnings from the bathhouse employees, but I scrupulously avoid those events. As far as I know that concept has not spread to sex clubs in other cities. I haven't been yet, and am unlikely to ever go, but the other bathhouse has started hosting dildo play parties every Thursday night. I hope that concept doesn't spread.

    I'm sorry to hear this is spreading to other parts of the country. I'm pretty sure these are the guys I've been meeting at in person sex venues, since moving to the PNW that know "1001 ways to have really great sex without fucking" or in a lot of cases without even touching anyone else's dick. They are so prevelent here, that it seems like they should be able to find each other and leave the rest of us alone, but I suspect once you taking fucking and in most cases sucking off the table there is little common ground to find a mutually agreed upon hookup activity. Although cuddle groups and events have sprung up in large numbers in large numbers in Portland, and I understand they are spreading to other areas. One of the regular cuddle parties was ground zero for local monkeypox outbreak last summer. So maybe some of them are finding each other.

    My interpretation based on this definition is that the only thing that's off the table with side men is anal play. Some of them will take a lot more than fingers up their ass.     I think it is still mostly means cuddling and other light petting activities. The guys that list oral in the list of activities they are interested in rarely seem to list their position as side. It has been a long time problem here that a lot of guys, including the ones in the sex club don't fuck or even suck. They even host events that cater to the guys that prefer other activities, unfortunately for me, more of them all the time.
