  1. Of course. Still, I wish Biden had refrained from allowing US "bunker-buster" bombs to be used wholesale against an entire people. I haven't researched that treaty, but I doubt it included carte-blanche every single weapons-type in the US arsenal. Maybe .... but it's definitely time to re-negotiate it. It's long past time for Nettie to "retire".
  2. That is the enduring and constant goal, whatever the source of the inequity happens to be.
  3. If this was it, than I suppose it's ok if we agree to disagree?
  4. To your thoughts above, beginning .......... I agree that religion has a role to play in many - maybe the majority - of people's lives. OR (Organized Religion) no longer pushes the notion that only their specific answers are acceptable, and all other viewpoints are worthy of extinction. It still harbors an unspoken, yet clear, assumptions. When it chooses, OR can be a force for good, unifying humanity. It can also do the reverse, and has countless times in the past. I wouldn't refuse to help anyone on the street either - most of us wouldn't allow an inhumanity like that to even cross our minds - let alone source it to some foreign government's leader. That would be akin to renouncing our humanity in favor of joining the animals of 1984. We're already Orwellian enough. I'm really glad that you found what you did in the Methodist Church. I had a job (musician) in a Methodist Church years ago, and it was really refreshing after decades in the LCA churches (and the MO Synod was even worse). More, I agree that your second paragraph would be sourced in that denomination, as opposed to - say - and LCA church. I had a Sunday school teacher (I was maybe in 2nd, 3rd grade) that taught us that all Catholics were going to Hell because they worshipped statues. Now that's just depraved. Your penultimate paragraph is perfectly stated; OR has often used fragments of sayings, re-interpretations of older interpretations, to promote their own purposes. Denigration of other belief-systems to support their own, self-serving variations on the theme. Yes, the Institutions of OR failed in Russia, Germany, Italy, Spain, countless other principalities throughout history. But that was because the people turned away from the inherent weaknesses of those Institutions and followed a real hound of hell. I admire folks who use their intellectual abilities, rather than follow the crowd.
  5. uugggghhhh ...... the imaginary visuals are just too disgusting 🤣 But then, so are the imaginary visuals of how he repaid the Sponsor of his career .... 'scuse me - I need to go hurl .......
  6. Does it count if we were born there? As I recall, the city is (phonetically) Wherebocka - not sure of the spelling though.
  7. This references the one failure of the Biden Administration that I am having a tough time forgiving: It was the Biden Admin that gave all those bombs to Netanyahoo, which are what turned Palestine into the modern world's biggest contiguous pile of rubble. If Biden had withheld these powerful bombs (Israel possesses none of this destructive power), there would at least be something for the Palestinians to return to. I agree that the tunnels should be cleared - any prisoners remains returned, and then what's left of the tunnels collapsed. Oddly, the faded Orange Corpulence would wind up cleaning up the mess our previous Administration wrought. I cannot imagine it will ever happen, but it would be at least some measure of Justice.
  8. Well said. I'm still trying too .... occasionally .....
  9. What, exactly, do you mean? Some little kid acts in a "fey" way a few times, and it's electroshock treatments for him? Prevent the kid from maturing physically? What is a "puberty-blocker" - some kind of pill that delays puberty? Or worse, prevents it?
  10. Thanks, BootmanLA, for that explanation. I think I follow - but it'll take a few more re-re-re-readings to be sure.
  11. Depending on how you define "religious", so am I. I suppose Deism would be the closest I can bring myself to come to terms with. as far as an "organized" belief-system goes. While there have been (and may well be in the future) enlightened teachers throughout history, the claptrap of crustations built up by the clerics of varying stripes has long buried the original messages of these enlightened ones. As Ronnie Reagan (jr.) says occasionally on tv: "not afraid of burning in hell ..."
  12. Well thought out, well said. He's been elected, where the muskrat hasn't. He's in place, and keeping quiet as the other clowns raise unholy hell. The more quiet they are, the more potentially dangerous. We don't know enough about him, other than his willingness to spout the 'party line'. He's the wild card in the deck.
  13. Erik62, re the above: From your fingertips to Whatever's eyes. 🫰
  14. To the O.P. though, I'm - well, somewhat 'optimistic' that a good number of folks that voted this guy into office will smell the coffee - come to their senses - and vote the Congressional R's out in the off-year elections. I see nothing but selfish cowardice in the Congressional Republicans - concerned only about preserving their own position, while exhibiting nothing but disdain for the common citizens. Look at the confirmation hearings: absolutely breathtakingly poor candidates to run the Government, some of ill will, some of poor education, and some just plain stupid. And why are they there? Because these Representatives and Senators are nothing more than craven self-centered, hollowed-out shells of human beings. Drunks, addicts, whores (m and/or f), thieves, con artists, rapaciously self-interested, without an ounce of shame in their self-dealing. I am not saying one party is completely shit, and the other completely Jesus-like. Each political party has some rascals mixed in, but the utterly shameful way some of these so-called Congresspersons have behaved is truly disgusting. They seem to believe that without their craven asses in the Government, the Government would fall - when the opposite is the case. IF we make it to the midterms, there's a chance the Government could reform itself, and begin to act in the interests of those who sent these Congresspersons to DC in the first place. I wonder if we'll all be around to see it, but then, everything in life is a choice, and I have no real regrets about how I've lived mine.
  15. Welcome, Skyclad. We hope to hear more from you.
  16. Lots of folks don't know it, but that's completely correct. The real dictator's party won the German elections in 1933, and by their constitution, whichever party won the most votes was given the reins of Government by the President of that nation, in this case, Hindenburg.
  17. All you (or anyone else) has to do is figure out how he (muskrat) will benefit from x course of action. His rockets are blowing up in mid-flight, his companies are already running/influencing many emerging markets. He has insinuated himself into the president's good will to the point that he feels he can do virtually anything already, but the more folks (of all stripes) that resist, the more blowback against the president. The guy already has more money than anyone could possibly spend in a lifetime, so he's using the power his dough gives him, to pursue Power, accountable to no one. Sadly, he's already got access to power, but only via the good-will of the president, If he makes a mis-step with the president, he'll be out on his pale rrrrrrrasshole in an eyeblink.
  18. awwwwwww ..... I like asparagus (when it's not cooked to death) 😇
  19. He'd throw anyone & everyone under the bus if he had the slightest whim to do it. The muskrat is on thin ice already - and it would surprise me not one bit if he (T) were already considering ways to toss the muskmess out.
  20. It all depends on how the remarks are delivered (assuming good-will on both guy's part). When the filthiest, most depraved conversation is delivered in the right way, it's more likely they'll shoot their loads than shrivel their dicks. Even in the fuckjoints, a bottom's Lusts can become even more whorish - wanton - pervectly "filthy", particularly when his Lusts are endorsed in the right way by others. Tops: try this next time you're in some fuckjoint: tell the bottom you want next that you've been watching him - even though your Cock may have been up some other guy's Hole - and you can tell how much he loves what he does - how beautifully he takes loads, blah blah blah ..... it's like pouring gas on a fire. Bottoms: Tell the guy you want next how much you love hard raw Cock up your gut - how thrilled you are when it pumps even more sperm up your cumHole, how you can never get enough hard raw Cock. If there's enough light, look the Top in the eye as you say it - no embarrassed giggle, no smirk on your face - just a guile-less, statement of plain old fact. As though you're saying 1 + 1 = 2. No gilding the lily - just a plain, genuine, matter-of-fact series of statements.
  21. Did you forget the one we're all currently taking part in? Hells Bells - the kooks could be reading this right now, making a list, checking it not at all .....
  22. Wellllll .... on the surface of reactions, that might be understandable. However, there are standards that some observe, and other folks that observe none. I'd rather we build more (very) high-rise jails (smaller "footprint") for all these criminals than take more land to waste on cemeteries. Even hundreds of thousands of urns (for ashes) would be too big a waste of raw materials. Plastic urns would be plenty good enough, considering (once the ashes have cooled, I suppose). We don't need to lower our standards merely because these cretins have none,
  23. It'll never happen ... I think it was just some noise he made when Nettie was here last week. Let Israel bomb the place to smithereens, and then pretend that the US will clean up everything in return for a gambling den on a gargantuan scale.
  24. Yeah, maybe - but wouldn't the US still have to support the hordes of his victims? Gitmo is a US base .... the Cubans don't pay for anything there - we taxpayers do. It's a long-standing and long-lived lease, but the Cuban Government doesn't control anything within it's confines. But, you have a profitable idea: At night, he could make the soldiers open the gates and chase the prisoners out, to make room for tens of thousands more.
  25. AND, the original 425 swapped out for a 250K-miles-on-it Chevy Slant-6 !!! Or, change vs terminus
