    Of course not - you're entirely correct, as usual. There are plenty of each that also hold unattractive qualities as well. D/s orientation, in and of itself, only carries one meaning, and there are plenty of other characteristics that make up the 'whole' man. But you've known that for a long time ... Hardly. You're one of the most thoughtful, cogent writers on here; I hope they pay you well enough for your contributions. <I know, I know .... grin> It's not at you, tallslenderguy .... you're one of the best contributors on BZ. It's nothing more than reaction at the notion that the current resident of the WH could possibly reflect any of the attributes of a Dom.

    You always cut right to the chase, don'tcha? I have no data on this issue, but I do have a relative that lived there, and I was out West visiting and included Idaho. Aside from "natural beauty", topography, all of that (which is definitely the case), there's precious little there that would tempt gay folks to relocate there, and plenty of reasons to ditch when/if they can. To the point, I don't believe there's all much economic viability there in the first place.

    Well, thanks, Anders4, for that hint !!! If I could blush pa Svenska, I would .... that might be it. My family emigrated to the USA when I was less than a year old. We did go back to visit every other year when I was a little kid, but that didn't last all that long, and I just don't recall all that much. I got "naturalized" upon entry into the US, and I have an American birth certificate. But I remember some boxes with papers from the Gamla Rike*. I'll have to pick through some old documents - maybe I can find it. *Moderators: that translation would be "Old Country", so please don't ding me again for a couple of Swedish words. Thank you.

    Well, splendid boy - if you'll allow me ..... No. Trump is hardly a Dom (as I know the descriptor). He's completely unfamiliar with any kind of life-structure, and infused with incurable weakness - which he has come to believe he can overcome by heaping more abuse on others than anyone else. A "Dominant" man, as we BZ'er's use that term, has character, has attained self-knowledge. He's confident in his intellectual abilities, and he's compassionate enough to help others that are less so. A real Dom does not take pleasure in degrading others, he does not steal from others, he is a genuine man. The current president possesses none of those characteristics. In fact, he's the opposite. That sad creature is still trying to fool the world into believing that he's not a wuss - not an intellectual dwarf - not a total pussy. And millions have swallowed his line of bullshit, and actually don't see through the thin, opaque veil he's wrapped himself in. If he thought he could, he'd be at the center of of all the action lately - firing everyone he can think of personally. He wouldn't need the muskrat to rake all this muck, if he had the wherewithal to do it himself. He's nothing but a quivering mass of self-doubt, and as far from being a true Dom as it gets.

    Really !!!!!!!!!! I've never experienced anything like that, and it's not like I haven't "been around", and aroundandaroundandaround ..... I've experienced guys that haven't properly prepped their Hole before, but pervectly piglike behavior only pours gas on the fires that I've experienced.

    Thanks for the above addition. I agree. Just because someone once experienced x or y or z, the world doesn't stop to gasp in horror. We do need to be cognizant of history, wrongs perpetrated (occasionally unknowingly), and correct those we can. Government can't and shouldn't try to guarantee everyone a ranch home in the burbs, a new-ish car in the driveway, steak dinners or swell clothes. The Left shouldn't try to impose correction of every single discernable issue upon the citizenry, and the Right shouldn't expect the country to come to a screeching halt when they pick at what amounts to rather little in the grand scheme. I too will be waiting for some "right-wingers" to respond cogently.

    The only thing I'm optimistic about, is that the sense of entitlement by the Dems has evaporated in an eyeblink, and the knee-jerk reaction is to redouble our efforts - get off our asses and take part in rebuilding the party. This kind of thing happens to any/every political party occasionally, and wakes up the lazy. I fully expect the Dems to retake Congress (both houses) with substantial majorities in the upcoming midterms (assuming we still even hold elections). There may not be much left of our Democracy by then, but whether we rebuild from the basement up, or the first floor up doesn't make a whole lot of difference either. I think this current aberration will burn itself out rather quickly. Maybe that's why the current resident of the White House is pushing so hard to tear down every shred of Government while he has the chance. I hope he does move to his new Riviera; they know how to deal with cranks like him.

    If we're limiting the definition of "love' to the classical "forever"-type attraction, it's happened only once to me, and it lasted for just over 30 years, until he passed. Other than that, I've fallen into "lust" more times than I could possibly count, Translated into dollars, I'd have banks-full by now. But that kind of dough just doesn't last long enough to be baked into a cracker-crumb, let alone a loaf of bread.

    I'm assuming this event would be on an "invitation" basis? Not publicly announced - like bbrt guys used to advertise (or, maybe still do?) - and held in some private home or other private area. The guy that's holding the event should make sure to have close to even numbers of T's & b's - but weight the Tops a bit more heavily. Lots of Tops are mostly one-&-done guys, and pig-bottoms need a lot more Cock than just a handful of 1&d's. There shouldn't be too many rules - the more free the invitees feel to let their inner pig run wild, the more fun it will be for every guy. Respect of others is obviously required, but so is a willingness to descend into a sexual pigpen - with the only "rule" being to respect other guys limits without assuming any ill will. I've found that some guys really appreciate refreshments - nothing fancy - I mean a washtub full of iced beer, soda, maybe some juice - and if an extended whoring is planned, some munchies will always be welcome. I think the best ones are merely publicly (in the community, I mean) announced - on the cruise apps, or whatever. That way it makes fresh meat more likely. The most important thing for the host to avoid is making too many rules. Provide the space, all the rest, set the limits (i.e. BD/sm or not), and encourage every guy to let his inner Pig run wild. One last thing: assume that some guys are going to want to bring another guy or two with them, so have that answer ready. Be ready to ask some ill-mannered guy to leave, if it comes to that. And, be ready to host another pigfest verrrrrry soon after the first one. Once an Elsa Manchester* surfaces, more will be expected *famed hostess of parties during Hollywood's "golden age"

    To the Original Post, not many here will remember the pop music of the 1960's/early '70's, when every gay guy that could went to San Fran. Many stayed, but every guy who went - even for a few weeks - remembers. John Phillips wrote "If you're goin to San Francisco" (be sure to wear flowers in your hair), recorded by Scott MacKenzie in 1967. That song became something of an anthem for the recently arrived 'Gay Liberation" movement, with San Fran as it's Capital in the US. Every guy wanted to go to San Fran - it was sexual nirvana - far more open to gays (and what we love to do) than any other city in the US. San Fran was magical - and if you're young enough, you missed out on the truly heady, magnificent early days of Gay Lib(eration). But those of us that were around - and went - will never forget that truly magical time, in a magical place. And then, along came a killer - a thief of our joys - our very lives. Our wonderful, beautiful Brothers were suddenly dying by the dozens, then by the hundreds, then by the thousands, and the life-force that San Fran embodied simply evaporated. It became the brick & mortar symbol of a lingering, cruel, utterly painful death, and there were no medical steps to take - they did not yet exist. Only hiding away, suppressing any sexual drives, living as hermits allowed some to survive. San Fran became the symbol of everything that could possibly go wrong - the air went out of the balloon - the vitality, the arts, the excitement, the thrill simply melted away. No gay guys wanted to go there anymore, "what was" had gone with the wind - and the city became a necropolis - save for the few that had survived and remained. And that's what happened to San Francisco.

    Perhaps, in a way, but via the elected Government, and thus the PM of Israel. There are tons of Israeli citizens that can't wait for Nettie to leave office. If there were an election there tomorrow (re: PM), he'd lose for sure. I cannot imagine our Government making a treaty with the citizens of some nation, rather than with the duly elected Government of that nation.

    Thanks for that explanation. I'd be surprised if merely acting in a "fem" way would equate with potentially trans identification, but that's just my own perception. I can remember plenty of non-butch guys in school as I was growing up, but as best as I can remember, switching gender identities wasn't even heard of. Doesn't a person have to be at least of legal age to make a decision like changing their gender-identity? Is this issue common these days? Maybe kids today do have that - well - opportunity? If that's the case, then giving them a pill so they could have the chance to - reassess - would be a good thing.

    Of course. Still, I wish Biden had refrained from allowing US "bunker-buster" bombs to be used wholesale against an entire people. I haven't researched that treaty, but I doubt it included carte-blanche every single weapons-type in the US arsenal. Maybe .... but it's definitely time to re-negotiate it. It's long past time for Nettie to "retire".
