I made the decision to bareback and take all loads on Jan 2, 2006 and have taken anywhere from 150 to 300 loads every year since. I get tested once a year and my last test last September was neg. That said it's bound to happen sooner or later that I become poz.

Neg bottom here that loves to be fucked and loaded. Taken hundreds of loads including many confirmed Poz. I think I must have the gene of natural immunity.

How do Poz guys not on meds know their VL and CD4 counts? I'm curious about mine now that its been two years since I got the Gift, but I got an epic meds lecture at the Public Health Men's Clinic when I tested poz. They wrote me a prescription for something and scheduled a follow-up, but I that all went in the shredder. I wasn't waterboarded or anything, but there was a pretty intense interrogation, too. At least I used my fake ID so they couldn't hunt me down.

I know mine because I am tested and yes I do get lectures from my doctor. So far I have only received one letter from the Department of health stating my responsibilities to use protection during all sexual activities and my liabilities should I not do so.

Tested poz on an Oraquick twice last year. Pretty sure poz but never officially tested.

If you tested poz twice on an OraQuick, I would say it's pretty official that you are poz, even without confirmatory testing. Those things have like a 1 in 3000 chance of showing a false positive, so if you happened to get two false positives, you need to give me some numbers to play for lotto ?

The guys on PrEP and the poz guys are essentially taking the same pills.

This is true, except I am the only one in my relationship taking any pills (and I am thinking hard about stopping taking them).

I was referring more to the pricing. Big pharma is set to make even more money from people who are worried about becoming poz. That was my point. Now if health insurance companies are discouraging doctors from writing scripts for PrEP (Truvada) because they don't want to pay for it, that's an entirely different issue.

I'm amazed that big government allows big pharma to act this way. They've got a drug that will keep gay men alive/healthy, but they want $500-600 a month for it (too much for most people to pay out of pocket). And the pill probably costs pennies to manufacture. If big pharma wanted more people to use it, they'd lower the price. But no, they keep it high to make profits, but then help propagate the message that your health is at risk as a gay man if you don't take it. Wow.

I use the term "hoodwinked" because a lot of poz guys are taking Truvada along with something else. I think it's very "convenient" that all neg guys need to do is take one of the meds a poz guy is taking and voila, he stays neg.

So now neg guys are popping pills like poz guys so they can stay neg and big pharma is laughing all the way to the fucking bank.

Insurance companies are running the industry. They are the ones that approve or deny coverage.  They are making Billions

Negative, not on any kind of anti-HIV medication and not intending to.

I am chasing and might be able to get my ideal fantasy pozzing in a month or two

I've been poz about a year and a half now, was diagnosed when I went in for testing to get on PreP. I take Truvada and Tivicay. Just got my most recent viral load results and am undetectable. I'm in healthcare and am used to looking at patient  blood labs all the time. Mine are gorgeous lol. Mostly I am looking for liver and kidney issues, but everything in my bloodwork is perfect, so I'm a pretty happy camper.

The one side effect I seem to have is my dream life is different. It's not bad, just odd? And it may be unrelated, but it's the only thing I can come up with as a side effect.
