You can also VERY OCCASIONALLY use a laxative before extended sessions (like bathhouse visits) I would say no more than once a month but I wouldn't even use them that frequently. You also don't want to rely on enemas because long term frequent usage can make you chronically constipated and cause hemorrhoids. Changing your diet like Pozbtm4breeding said is the best bet

Start the bottom diet - lots of salads and build up gradually to a very high fiber diet and drink lots of water, which will help keep your stool loose and moving so it'll stick to your colon and rectum and anus less, which will make cleaning easier for you.

I fast regularly (sometimes I go like 3 days without eating) and eat very little to stay clean and to lose weight and also because I just forget to eat (down 50 lbs in a year with no exercise) and I would NOT recommend starting to fast before an event like cumunion. You have to work up to regular fasting like that to stay clean. I wouldn't even start a high fiber diet right now either, since going from low fiber (like the typical american diet) to high fiber can cause a lot of gas and discomfort and actually constipate you instead of cleaning you out. You can message me and I'll tell you some more if you want, but for right now stick to enemas. -
