They are also ignoring the effect of PrEP testing regimes. Before I was on PrEP, I might go a couple of years between STI tests. Now I get them regularly. More testing means more infections being caught.

I was lucky to get a few years of sex before we started hearing about AIDS. It was really scary before HIV tests were readily available; all you knew was you hadn't gotten sick yet. I was such a condom nazi in the mid-late 80s. Whenever anyone would tell me they had slipped up and fucked without one, I would be totally freaked out. I was very sexually active though. I am sure I got stealthed a few times because I never thought to reach back and check. In retrospect, I am certain I was one time. But by about 1990, people were starting to get condom fatigue. I resisted going bare, but a smooth-talking, well-hung top who could rim like a champ eventually got in me bare. Once I remembered how good it felt, I couldn't go back to rubber. Over a period of 3-4 years in the early 90s, I went from always-use-a-condom to if-you-want-to-use-one to you-don't-have-to-use-one to bareback. -

Moderator's Note: I won't be apologizing. I stand by what I said. First let's clear things up. There is a vengeance/castration event in this story. It was posted on January 1 - Chapter 28 A new Jeff. Chi4loads even acknowledged its existence about 20 posts ago when he explained the reason he never came back to it was that it was unpopular being the only post of his story that got downvotes. This is true regardless of Monster5-8gPA's confusion and mispost. My suggestion to chi4loads was that if he wanted to explore a part of the story line that had made people unhappy putting it in its own thread would help prevent controversy. I have made the same or similar suggestion to other authors, and when they have done so things have run more smoothly. He instead chose to get his back up leading to the dozen or more posts wasted on arguments. Now he seems to be trying to create a big public outcry by holding the continuation of his story hostage. This is one of the hottest stories ever on the forum, and I have been here since the beginning. I have beat off over this story more than once. I hope chi4loads continues it. He is one of the best authors of erotic fiction on this forum. But the fact is this is a forum - it is not anyone's personal webpage or even their blog. When you post on a forum, you sometimes get negative feedback. If you cannot live with that, then you should consider posting your stuff elsewhere.

There is a lag between when you become UD which is measured from you blood and when your other bodily fluids are free of the virus. That’s why a guy needs to be UD for a few months (I think 6 is the accepted limit) before they can be sure they are also unable to transmit the virus.
