  1. The fourth episode has hit YouTube.
  2. This chapter is as good as, if not a bit better, than the earlier chapters. Reflecting all the activity of that afternoon and evening, this chapter moves right along — in fact, I had to slow myself down a couple of times. A perceptive reader — and if you’re on this site, aren’t you a perceptive lad? (/s) — will appreciate the description of the steps you took to safeguard your belongings when party time arrived. And there’s always a snooty nosed guy who thinks his feces don’t stink, and your description of him is great. I’m a little surprised none of you decked him when he made the remark in the hall, but then he’d have wanted the police which would be inconvenient. Do you get the idea that I really liked this installment…? I shudder to think how many pens you used in writing it down in the notebook. Thanks again for sharing…
  3. The pictures are fine; some of us appreciate an aid to our imaginations, and any of the young gentlemen in the photos could assist me anytime. The story has some interesting plot twists which make me pay attention and stimulate my twisted imagination. And if a couple of guys in my dorm were like these two, I’d be working on my 10th bachelor’s degree (or something like that). Writing is not an intrinsically easy task; to do it well, including staying away from the too familiar plots we see in porn, takes no small amount of time and effort. @DenverHandyMan, thanks for putting in that time and effort. And if you leave this story in mid-air, I’ll organize the posse to haul your ass to a writing desk for you to finish it.
  4. They're also available on YouTube on the Financial Times channel. The third episode is available now: [think before following links] https://youtu.be/a7_fLRuoZss.
  5. My curiosity is aroused (along with other parts)....
  6. I've chosen experience over youth almost without fail. If the over-50 gentleman displays signs of intelligence and good manners, I'm usually tempted to throw him in the back of the car and bring him home for an extended encounter. The tiebreaker, if I have a bad case of indecisiveness, is to ask myself if I want to be teaching a class in Gay Sex 102 at 4 in the morning.
  7. I can see why this weekend took an entire notebook. I wasn’t too surprised to see in the day’s conversations several themes that run through many of the discussions here. A huge thanks for putting in the time and effort writing this chapter — and the previous chapters (which I now need to read again).
  8. No need to apologize for the long post because your life isn't dull. And I'd guess that with the active imaginations of the folks here, those who are interested can fill in the details for themselves. But if you wanted to drop some hints, I for one wouldn't object.
  9. Something like this? [think before following links] https://www.cvs.com/shop/cvs-health-block-out-eye-mask-prodid-387395.
  10. Same thought I had, and if @justsexnowatl wasn't squeezed on time, it'd be an interesting development. By the way, great picture @justsexnowatl -- no wonder the guy chose it.
  11. The two were similar in layout, reflecting a 1970s style, and they were just about a mile apart on the same street. The Suncoast was sold in 2007, the plan being for Home Depot to put a store there. The Great Recession took care of that idea. An apartment complex of about 300 units, repeatedly emphasizing that it's pet-friendly, opened on that site last year. The Flamingo was sold in the summer of 2019, and a 245-unit complex is going up on the site. It too is pet-friendly, to the tune of a $350 pet fee up front plus $15/month. On the other hand, if one is living there, the pet fee shouldn't be a worry: the 800 sq ft studio starts at $1625, and the 2 br, 2 bath 1200 sq ft apartment starts at $2900. The Tampa Bay Times, reporting the closure of The Flamingo, wrote "Neighbors also credited the Flamingo with freshening up a part of their waterfront community. At the time it opened, the resort replaced an abandoned hotel that had become an eyesore and a haven for drugs." By the time of the Flamingo's closing, history had been repeating itself. The hotel/resort that's being developed on Central Ave, I suspect, is not likely to have the same ambiance as the Suncoast and Flamingo. I'm not saying that nocturnal trysts won't occur there, but it's difficult to envision "cum dump specials" becoming part of that establishment's atmosphere.
  12. Just imagine the possibilities if your GPA had matched your "fresh catch count." You would have graduated with "summa cum loads" honors.
  13. Reading for any period of time, let alone 8 hours, would likely be out of the question, the light being too dim.
  14. Which calls to mind Bill Clinton's statement "I did not have sexual relations with that woman."
  15. Like he had to prove he wasn't screwing a woman...?
  16. The Office -- in the 500 block of East State St. I knew people who had gone to it 15 or 20 years before I began to patronize the place. That would be the bar at 7th St & 5th Ave; the owner was a guy named Jack. It was generally a more pleasant place than the Office (or so I found it to be); I spent a good amount of time there each summer when I was home from college. Years later when my partner and I visited my parents, I learned that Jack had opened a bar waaaay out on West State St. We went over there one night, and one might easily imagine my surprise upon seeing, sitting at the bar, Curtis, one of the regulars from the 7th St bar. Time and alcohol had written their messages upon his visage, but Curtis remembered me with no prompting (as did Jack), much to the amusement of my partner.
  17. I wasn't surprised at all, and I expanded my vocabulary as well.
  18. Eeeeeks...!!! I offer additional proof of the proposition that it's a small world: I grew up in Rockford, and in my college years, the bar that was catercorner from that ABS was my hangout. (I never went into that ABS; I wasn't much into ABS at that time. I can't remember the name of the bar, but I can picture the owner as sure as if he was standing in front of me.)
  19. Thumbs up on the new profile pic (I really did notice before today)….

  21. Am I the only person who had to look up the definition in Urban Dictionary?
  22. The first two fires occurred within a week. Tampa FD had a suspect, but that seems to be as far it went. [think before following links] https://www.abcactionnews.com/news/region-tampa/tampa-fire-rescue-identify-suspect-in-two-ybor-city-arsons. The third fire was several months later, and the suspect was arrested. [think before following links] https://www.abcactionnews.com/news/region-tampa/fire-ruled-arson-at-closed-business-in-ybor-city. There were assorted rumors that the business had had financial difficulties. Draw your own conclusions.
  23. Ybor Resort and Spa, 3 fires in 2017, arson each time.
  24. A search of the Hillsborough County Property Assessor's website shows that the place was sold on March 28 for a cool $1.5 million.
