Hear Hear !! That's why I joined up. I happen to like a different posts, and enjoy responding to them. I've even created a few posts. The rub comes though, when some member promulgates non-caring behavior, no concern for the greater good, etc. I'll reply for a while, and when met with nothing but recalcitrance, close-mindedness, argumentative stuff, I just don't read that thread anymore. Only recently did I decide I'd had enough of one to actually block the (I presume) guy. This is, it seems to me, a very comprehensively conceived website. There are separate areas for discourse on virtually every subject related to barebacking, and those that don't interest me I simply don't read. More, rather than get into political issues, I write almost daily on a political blog, and I sharpen my fingers in the pencil sharpener before I even log onto that blog. On BZ. I try much harder to understand/share perceptions, stuff I've done sexually, etc. etc. I do appreciate the political section though. Sometimes though, it's hard to resist offering countering viewpoints to guys that simply will not have the courtesy to consider other viewpoints. Years ago, the only guys that used "rubbers" were guys that had fetishized them in some obtuse way. This is why I get tested monthly, which is probably more often than needed. The sooner we know the sooner we can take appropriate measures. 100% agree but you have to be 100% committed to being owned. Obviously. Branding is permanent, and receiving your Master's Mark in that way would imply - as above - a 100% commitment (i.e. life-long) to ownership (other men will consider it as such). If it's a generic Branding, i.e. a biohazard, or other mark non-specific to the owner, that would make a difference, I suppose - but, like Lucy - you'll have lots of "splainin" to do.

It sure does ... for the last few years I mostly drive a little imported tinkertoy, since the Earth doesn't need me thundering around the country with a nice, big, fat, powerful gas-guzzling 440 under my foot. Well, Kimberley, your recent post above implies some sort of "reason", or "reasoning", which in turn, implies some sort of intellectual investigation into whatever the subject matter happens to be. As regards the point of the post, there is virtually little "reason" involved; it's almost entirely fantasy-based, which has little to do with "reasoning". Some decisions can be made "on the fly", for instance, whether to order chocolate or vanilla at an ice cream shop. Many of the postings BZ are based not in reason, but in fantasy. Thus, expecting sound "reasoning" behind decisions like what you're describing is not available. There are no "reasons", these guys that think they're "joining" something are fantasizing. What is valid however, is what potential actions a man thinks through, considers carefully, and in time, arrives at what is right for him, and only him. That decision may be the correct one for him, and no other, since we must make decisions of this importance for ourselves. You've already done an admirable thing, in asking others who have made their decision at some prior point. Obviously though, this site is mostly populated by men more interested in sharing their adventures than a more health-care-related website. Perhaps you could find a website, or almost certainly one or more recommended by any number of guys here that is focused on the questions you ask.
