As you surely know, "racism" is not something folks put on or take off like a shirt or cap. Once introduced, it's something that grows in a fevered mind - fertilizing resentments, false equivalency, anti-human behavior. It's a learned depravity, but it's possible to unlearn racism, given the realization in the racist's mind that it's unhealthy in every way. The "antidote" to racism also is a learned behavior, given the individual's determination to flush it down the mental john. All it takes is to recognize in ones self the mental/emotional wart, and keep applying the antidote until if finally fades away. It may be hard work, and take no small amount of time, but it's a happy, productive journey as well, and can be applied to any particular aspect of our mindset that we realize is counterproductive.

Well, I don't use any of the so-called "social media" websites, which may also say a little bit about me 😉

While I have nothing but admiration for the President, I'm a realist - you're almost certainly right. That eventuality would be ideal, if he doesn't decide to step down. Plus, if the trumpet. dares to debate Harris, I'll buy tickets to that take-down. She'll mop the floor with him - and the same with the "bearded wunderkind".

I had to ask the Googler who Fuentes is ... and I predict that in a few years, so will everyone else.
-
Interestingly, it does now. That lovely lady that married Vance would be one example. She of amazing accomplishments, not a native citizen, noticeably darker in complexion to those of Northern European heritage, should give the ranting crowd of hate-mongers a pause or three in their sweeping judgements against those with more melanin in their skin than those of Caucasian descent. It might be fun to hear how the racists deal with this. Is that a rug being lifted up and a broom I hear?

Given that we already have a duly elected Veep, there would be no vacuum at all. She'd have to find her own Veep quickly, of course, but that wouldn't be the biggest problem she'd face. If the President does leave office, all his committed delegates (and the campaign dough) would go to her (assuming she'd want to run for President). I do think, however, this issue must be settled before mid-August, and well before if at all possible. An open convention is hardly a palatable event.
-
I think that if the President actually does cave in to the pressure (which is centered - I believe think, more on preserving and expanding Congressional seats than Biden) a younger person than Senator Kelly as a potential Veep would be more helpful. Nothing at all against Kelly, but some of the idealistic kids (like some of us used to be a thousand years ago) may well go for one of their own, over another "grandfather" figure. Just a notion ... but it's chess at this point.

She couldn't do worse than Orange Jesus if she tried.

I've heard a number of times that the R covid morbidity (the initial appearance) is around 600K nationwide. There are no actual surveys that I know of, however. If true, that's a decent chunk of votes the magaroids will surely miss this time around. I listened to Vance's kinda-sorta "speech" last night. Many say how brilliant he is, and maybe that's so. That said, the "meemaw" or whatever he called his grandmother, was probably actually named Vivian. As in Vivian Vance - Lucille Ball's "set-up" sidekick on that old tv show. More, for the first time I've ever seen, the talking heads on MSNBC actually blabbed right through a commercial break !!! I'll lay you 10 to 1 that never happens again. That man is as shallow as a slip of scratch paper.

We're sorry to know that, Guy4GuyCoSpgs. Some of us simply don't read/participate on threads regarding certain topics that don't interest us, and thus are able to exchange views on issues we do care about without being bothered by issues we don't. We're sorry that didn't work for you; I add my best wishes to everyone else's,
-
I agree, with one qualifier: reducing the non-Caucasian US population. The magaroids want to increase the Caucasian population, and reduce (by any unholy means conceivable) the population of everyone else.

You're correct of course ..... it's a rather fine point whether it's overly seedy, or juuuuuust right ...😁

Occasionally I go to the tubs over in Oakland Park, but I haven't gone to the bigger, nicer tubs a shorter drive away for years. In fact, it's probably the nicest bathhouse I've ever been to. The tubs over in Oakland Park is a bit rundown, like a patched up old whore, but still well-able to make it happen. The aura of sexual license is better (for me) if it's a bit on the "needs a fresh coat of paint" side, rather than the sparkling clean and shiny side. There's just something special about a seedy atmosphere, dark areas, a little bit rundown .... my kind of fuckjoint.

Somehow, I don't think that will happen. Biden's never been a liar, he's more a consensus-builder. He's great at massaging the egos around the table, and pretty effective (or has been in the past). I've come to the conclusion (of course, we won't really know until mid-August), but I think he's being honest when he says he won't step down. That said, he's old, has some physical concerns, which makes the Veep all the more important. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Dem's win in November, and within a year Biden has to step aside for some medical reason. That'd be a-ok with me. Harris can really kick ass when she takes a mind to do it. Those years as a prosecutor count.

I'm waiting to see how the Magaroids try to turn the Menendez issue into political theater. There's simply no way that any collection/group of folks never ever has a mickey slip through. He started out great many years ago, so I hear, but caved to his greed for more dough (and Egyptian bling). That character flaw can infect anyone, of any persuasion I suppose.

Well, there's no taking issue with that fact - it's just how it is. I catch one of the lesser bugs once in a while - I think most rawguys do. So, it's a matter of getting them treated, being "out of the market" for a while. But, considering I'd have to deny myself the pleasure I get from eating/fucking Holes, it's something I've thought long and hard about. I take the steps required to avoid hiv, which only entails the pills, but each guy has to make his own decisions, right?

Brief, and boiled down to it's lowest common denominator. Well said. Thanks.

Well, I've been voting by mail for the last 2 elections (Federal), and before that I voted "in person" here in Ft. L. I was never asked for more than the voter registration card after I finally got into the building (loooong lines waiting to get in, and not nearly enough parking). That's the reason I applied for the mail-in option in the first place. I'll have to get some old documents out, and compare the signatures .... I don't think it's changed much .....

Political disagreements on all kinds of subjects are inevitable, and perfectly acceptable when discussed in a civil manner. Murder of political opponents, or attempted murder (of anyone, for that matter), or beating or corporal attacks are never ever acceptable, save for defense of the nation during declared war against aggressor nations. While Mr. Trump is mistaken, benighted in many areas of discourse, he is deserving of the most foundational level of respect; that of being allowed to live his life. Each human being on the face of the earth deserves that most basic right to exist. It's hardly any secret to the readership of BZ that I heartily disagree with Mr. Trump on many issues, but that in no way excuses the outrage perpetrated last night against not only Mr. Trump, but against our Government, our electoral process, and the basic human decency with which we humans must treat each other. Everyone is guaranteed the right to voice their views, in either a genteel fashion or more bluntly. The shooter was, apparently, socially disturbed, which is no excuse whatsoever. It may be the reason behind the events of last night, but murder (or corporal violence) is absolutely not acceptable, no matter what the cause or issue. While I stand against virtually every aspect of Mr. Trump's platform/proposals, and I stand for his right to announce, argue-for them. Killing, or attempts to kill the messenger however, goes against every most basic human instinct, (let alone our tradition of allowing everyone their say), every sense of decency, and must never be tolerated, excused, or sloughed off. Whatever happens politically in November, this event will not help the discourse one way or the other. It's nothing less than tragic, and we must learn from it, and reconfirm our beliefs that this misguided attempt to silence a political figure is unsound. What counts is civil discourse on the issues of the day, and nothing less.

Yes, that can happen, but generally a close-up "sniff-test"* will make the obvious clear. It's something I always do first, just in case. I will mention though, that it's rather seldom that I have to "pass" for that reason. *I mean, if there's any question, a finger inserted, moved around a bit, withdrawn and sniffed, will definitely tell the tale. (apologies if that sounded as coarse as I didn't mean to be .....)

Ft. L. is not similar at all to PB, but there are very wealthy areas immediately around the city limits, and mostly to the north (like Lighthouse point, for instance) and along the beaches. Those would be the rich hets, for the most part, but there are plenty of wealthy gays that live over there too. Immediately N of Ft. L. is Wilton Manors - the gay mecca of SE FL. Plenty of guys from Miami drive up here on the weekends. While I assume there are some straights living there, it's substantially a gay city (the mayor, city officials are all either "out" gays or gay-supportive. Housing prices reflect that. There are plenty of guesthouses (mini fuckjoints offering day-passes), and tons of gay bars (one of which is the Eagle - totally magnificent for wanton, raw sex). The Leatherbars do have "dress code" nights, but also offer areas where non-Leathermen can fuck.- and the more heavily gay neighborhoods of Ft. L. are within walking distance of W.M. In my block alone I can count 6 households of gay snowbirds (not counting the year-rounders like me). That said, it's kind of nice when things settle down for a while. All the gay "amenities" are still available, but without the masses. Sure, you might not get "fresh hole" every time - but there's nothing wrong with "repeats" at all, at least as I see it.

Agreed. If "nice" means sharing the power more liberally, and "mean" means hoarding the power for the benefit of the few, then commentary should just say that. "Nice", "mean" have no identifiable meaning anymore; it's only the context in which they are used that carries intent or meaning. They've simply become obtuse code-words. In and of themselves (in a political context), they're useless,

Registering for Vote by Mail would be a fairly simple way to get the "proof" in order, and receive their ballot prior to the election, and then just mail it in. The last few elections I actually drive downtown to the Registrar's office and drop it in the safe under the counter where we interact with the employees. I've been doing it for a number of cycles, and it's really easy. Plus, one can prepare a "crib sheet" in advance, and no one (like an ill-informed partisan election judge) will know it. And, one final benefit of VbM - there's no one to get pissed off about while waiting in line to vote (lately, there can easily be 50,60 people in line ahead of me, at least in my precinct) and lose one's cool, get dragged off to the clink for stirring the pot.

Pre-loaded Cumdumps - Why does it feel so good?

Thanks for sharing that excellent event with us, Seedthssub. Well done. -
How long do you have before you make a decision? Real estate prices in Ft. L. have been leveling off for the past few months, with more to come (so the realtors say). I well understand how it feels good to know that there are plenty of gay neighbors - even if you don't get around to even meeting some of them. !!!!!!!!!!!!! More later - someone apparently just injured trump at a rally in PA !!!!!!!!!!!
