for many guys not near large cities, or for some other reason, find vids to help them have some sort of sex life after all. the whole cause/effect thing does not seem important to me.

Just like watching straight porn where no condom is used leads to sex without condoms.   The premise that having sex with or without a condom is a gay question strikes me as... flawed.
