In Europe most countries have an age of consent of between 14 and 18 with most either 15 or 16. In Holland it's 16, in France 15 for instance (to my knowledge). There are usually restrictions though about the age difference between the partners to prevent abuse. For instance in Portugal it's 14 but having sex with a 14yo when you're 30 is illegal as you're "taking advantage of their inexperience". 16 seems to be a right age. I think most order them online. I do (from Amsterdam) and I always bring my own when I travel so never had to buy some when on a trip. I can imagine though that especially in southern Europe it will be hard to find a shop that sells them. Within the EU shops can ship all over the continent without problems. I am surprised you could not buy them in the Canary Islands. I know one shop there (Gran Canaria) which sells them, or at least used to, that may have changed though.

You'll have fun. I'll be going to GC myself in September after not having beed there for a few years. Before moving to GC to live there for a short while I stayed at Basement several times. Mostly because it's a clothing optional gay resort and it's conveniently located across the street from Yumbo (where most of the bars and clubs are). During the day it's busy with day guests. Start arriving from 10am onwards. They lounge around the pool and/or go the "maze" behind the bungalows and the cellar with the sling for sex. After the day guests leave it's up to your fellow residents if you have a good time. The two other sexclubs Reds and Zoo are around the corner on Avenida de la Tirajana. I knew about it but never saw it used either and I've been around for a while. Maybe it was more an American than a European thing. For me it would be a Navy Blue on the right. Right or left was easy enough to remember: L(eft) = Leading, R(ight) = Receiving (if I'm correct for all options). I wish I could be like that, but there's a limit to what I can take. Unfortunately I never know upfront how much that is. I guess it depends on the situation and the top(s).
