    Indeed it is not ideal. I had to get treated and tested right before the Toilet Paper Madness began, and they wanted to do bloodwork to re-approve the Truvada.     At the moment, I'm a professional musician. I'll be giving that up when I change my home. In twenty years, I've done all I can here, and it's surely not enough to live on, so I don't have to limit myself to exclusively THAT. I'll probably work some unskilled labour job (something retail most likely) until I get settled and find a new career. Human Services generally include state-funded things. I won't have much money to start out, and I may have to live in less-than-adequate conditions until I'm settled. This may include things like housing, healthcare, food stamps, etc. Or maybe I will be fortunate and not have to do those things, but they are for people who need help for a brief period. I don't intend to make it a life-long crutch. So far I've uncovered a good arts scene and definitely gay pride stuff. There's also a Steamworks! As a rising porn actor, they may be glad to have me for events or something. Plenty of extracurricular things to do that might help me find my way. Thanks for the replies, guys.

    What's it like these days? Much the same. Touche uses their backroom for club-specific events.     I've been to SW Chicago a few times. The staff CAN be disrespectful, but who could expect to find nobility in such a place? That doesn't make it okay, but they know we can't take our business elsewhere. Mans Country is closed and gone, and the only other option is RAM (an adult bookstore).
