  1. Welcome, Tom. We hope to hear more from you, on any kind of topic you'd like to comment on. Your home-town is absolutely wonderful; I've been there a few times, and it's simply magnificent in every way.
  2. "Are Out gay couples of color more likely to face hate crimes?" Sadly, I would think so. Those brothers-in-the-life are doubly damned in the minds of the race-baiting hatemongers, who will gladly attempt to compensate for their failures by disparaging any/every "other" they can identify.
  3. "Hate crimes and Out gay couples of colour." This commentary might be deemed misplaced (by the mods), so I apologize in advance if that's the case. The issue of racism in general, and in the US in particular, has been the noose around our collective necks for centuries. Now that the actual depravity of "owning" other human beings for the purpose of enslaved servitued has been outlawed via the Civil War (aka the War between the States) for 160 years, one could be forgiven for believing that the foundational issue (one race deserving of slavery, another race deserving of domination of the subjugated race), would have been excised from the National psyche ages ago. So the confounding question becomes, why that is still not the case with a decent percentage of the citizenry? How is it that the descendants of the imported, enslaved peoples are still - lo these many decades later - still considered second-class citizens? There are, of course, brilliant exceptions such as MLK Jr, numerous others, but the mindset of hatred at worst, denigration at least, is still acceptable to a decent number of Americans? While the straights have modified their hatreds of gay folks to some degree (mostly out of hesitancy to be demeaned by other pale people), apparently the learned hatreds of other minorities simply will not be given up. Our propensity to demean others unlike us in some way is confounding at the very least. We see it in the Levant, with very similar people killing each other with impunity, and only in the name of some deity/belief system. We see it in our major population centers, and minor ones. As populations expand world-wide, we see these ancient depravities resurface (encouraged by leaders of world powers, no less), particularly in our own country. I simply cannot understand how this ancient curse can be so readily accepted by folks who should know far, far better. The depravities of the current Administration are broadcast daily in every major media, as they round up not only folks that came for a better chance at a safe, decent life, and a chance to work hard enough to earn it, but anyone that wasn't born here. Neither were our Caucasian ancestors. How is it that any human being - attempting to be of good will, some measure of decency - can endorse this filth? We are all equal. We are all of value. Each of us - whatever characteristics that separate us - are worthy of respect, and basic human dignity.
  4. I hear ya .... while I call it automatic lube, it can soak through a pair of jeans easily. At the fuckjoints, I don't care - but until I get there it can be a bit embarrassing.
  5. It's a matter of each guy determining, and then communicating his limits, and in a completely non-judgemental way. It's not at all necessary to in any way demean others for their choices, but that does not mean you need to submit to other folks choices either. Plus, it's more enriching to know that the "connection" you refer to is genuine. I've fucked guys that were wired out of their minds, and it's not anywhere near as "complete" a connection as when two men, in lust for what the other possesses, and achieve when they breed. I don't mean guys have to "interview" each other at the fuckjoints - that wouldn't be very conducive to an intense mating experience. I don't know if you live in a large city or a small one, but with some awareness, there are characteristics one can learn to discern a given situation. Gracefully demurring is always preferable to any outright demeaning comments. If pressed, it's easy to say something like 'thanks - maybe a little later/some other time, or something similarly innocuous. And then, simply move on. Each of us has agency, and we don't have to give that up.
  6. I used to attend CumUnion fairly regularly years ago, before I moved to FL. I decided to try CumUnion here in Ft. L. last night (first Wed of every month). The crowd was large, but not at all as large as on Fri/Sat nights. One of the three parking lots was closed, one had maybe 8-10 cars (normally 30-some cars), but the action was as filthy and delicious as usual; just not as many guys. Shoved it to one guy in the darkroom, and he hollered so loud it was like flies to honey. It was fun, of course - but - just not as much fun as when the place is jammed with Breeding men. At least there's at least one day per month with good prospects over there.
  7. Small wonder .... it's magnificent !!!
  8. As I've mentioned before, Act One is to get down there and do a little "sniff-test". There's seldom a problem, and there's almost always load up there, which leads to Act Two. All I do is whisper filthy praise in his ear for doing what he must, reinforcing, accentuating his Lusts for hard raw Cock pumping loads up his sweet Hole. That almost always re-ignites his Lust for more.
  9. I didn't know that, and I bet most other Americans didn't (don't) either. Apparently, the more dough one has, the more dough one craves - literally !!
  10. Agreed. It turns out though, that the "advisors" (drawn substantially from his family) were more interested in protecting their loved-one than investigating more prudent courses of action. I also believe that his situation was more advanced than we knew, which illness cannot be blamed on him. Dementia causes pain to everyone - across the board - and in this case, an entire nation. It was no favor to the nation to cover up the seriousness of the situation. Illness is illness - and no one purposefully gets that kind of sickness. What is, simply is. I an not apologizing for supporting the former President to the end; he was a lifelong good and decent man, serving his nation with honor and dignity, but I am saying that it was a costly decision for all concerned to push him into a second run. Had the stirrer-of-the-pot not been the nominee for this term, things may have been different; but we can't rewrite history. A good and decent man, servant of the Nation for many decades, should have been allowed to retire with his well-earned dignity intact, instead of being forced to soldier on until the bitterest of ends.
  11. Now that the "rainy season" has begun (this year, it was like a switch was flipped), obviously there's not as much sunshine, but the commercial a/c units are still roaring away like it's still 100 degrees. Slammer was fukkin freezing this past weekend - and I even wore jeans. But, had a great time of it anyway.
  12. Agreed. While any leader of any group will have some kind of platform, his was world-wide, and he did speak out in favor if treating others with compassion, all the generally-accepted "positive" values. Not that I paid much attention, but he managed to avoid pushing all the overweening magic stuff. That was refreshing.
  13. Actually, that's entirely likely. I get similar phone calls all the time*, and it's a fact that (apparently) I could easily get 4x what I paid for my place. The issue is, assuming one wants to stay in the area (I do), where to move to and a) stay alive, and b) not blow all the profits on a new place. There are a handful of area in greater Ft. Lauderdale (but not Ft. L. proper) that are simply not safe at all. As to the "improvements" issue, the mayor (one of us) held a function in this 'hood several years ago, promising this and that, none of which has yet materialized. Apparently, gay mayors get the same "tell em what they wanna hear" illness that seems to infect most mayors everywhere. *that's about the only thing I like about cellphones: we can "block" the number and not hear from the caller again.
  14. My favorite is Land 'O Lakes unsalted butter ... nothing makes a Hole taste better than the mixture of salt-free butter and sperm. But, I keep a selection of other, commercial lubes on hand, just in case. I've never heard of Marmite, but I recall something that might have been that substance when in GB. Didn't taste it though ..... Generally, I offer them a selection of commercial lubes, and the LOL's as an "up & extra" if they come over for more at some point.
  15. Well, there are good reasons not to relocate here ("f"l meaning Florida, or "fl" meaning Fort Lauderdale), mostly related to weather issues. It's true that we (collectively) have fucked our home (Mother Earth) to the point that she'd fucking us back, but there's no (habitable) place that isn't experiencing some level of M.E.'s wrath. There are a number of reasons to at least visit here, depending on your tastes. There's no winter, which is a big one for me. For example, "planting season" begins in October !!! For folks that enjoy gardening/horticulture, Florida is paradise. For folks that hate the cold, dark winters, it's paradise all over again. Then there's the "No State Income Tax" thing. Interestingly, I just read an article about how the land-levels are sinking, all over the world. Apparently, we (humanity) has been pumping so much ground water out (irrigation of crops, etc) that what land used to be held in place by large concentrations of subterranean water (apparently very, very deep, but now depleted) is allowing huge tracts of surface earth to be slowly sinking. No place is everyone's cup of shit, Florida included, but it's alright for some of us.
  16. I'm wondering if we're "shirttail" relatives, on a really longtailed shirt ......
  17. Same fuckjoint as always .... Most of the snowbirds have flown back North now, so it's not as jammed as during the Winter months, but somehow there's an increased sense of "anything goes" this time of year. Maybe it's just that the not-quite-so-dedicated guys aren't around, but there's a palpable aura of more concentrated wantonness over there. Fine with me.
  18. I have nothing against it, but the others involved need to be real pigs too. It's fun to have a little (good natured) competition of who can be the most brazenly focused on exchanging raw loads. Plus, if there are a couple of real pigs involved, others that have yet to "let loose" can watch, get accustomed to the complete freedom, and become that much closer to who/what they need to be. I'm not much of a kisser, but when some guy has a mouthful / holefull of loads, I'm all over it ....
  19. It takes quite a while for some guys to ditch their inhibitions and let their Lusts out of the box, and while that's a shame, at least they finally get over the cultural bullshit and start living "their truth". I think that the guys that have the most difficulty allowing themselves to become what they really *need* to become, have been raised with cultural repressions to the point that they don't realize those repressions are negative characteristics in the first place, designed to keep society in someone else's notion of what "order" is. Freedom is contagious; when we get a little taste of real freedom to be who we need to be, we only want to experience more freedom. As long as that doesn't entail negative behavior towards others, where's the harm? Good for you, for allowing him the time to get his lusts in order. If he hasn't yet, allow me to thank you on his behalf. A sexually-wanton guy is a terrible thing to waste !!
  20. Neither have I .... but I suppose you and I live in more open, less prejudiced areas. Too bad so many folks don't.
  21. Well, not everyone is ever going to live their lives fully, openly embracing themselves in all their various attributes. I guess that all we can do is embrace them anyway, and try not to judge them for judging us. There's a lot of willful ignorance out there .....
  22. Congrats - glad he managed to separate his love for you from his lust to watch you steep in your sexual lusts. No guy is "property" - we're with our partners because we care for their entire being. When we love them them in all their attributes, talents, then we're truly blessed.
  23. I did - loved it. Initially though, he didn't want me to watch at all. He felt somehow that I wouldn't like it - and I suppose conventionally, a lot of partnered guys wouldn't care for it. Didn't take him long to learn though - and once he did, he didn't mind "showing off" at all.
